This Wednesday, Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Marco Estrada will take his 5-2 record up against Ricky Nolasco and the Minnesota Twins.

Marco Estrada was able to win his second game in a row last Friday when he pitched six innings against the Chicago Cubs. He allowed six hits in that outing and walked four batters while striking out five. Estrada has now pitched 67 innings this season and has 62 strikeouts and a 4.03 ERA.

First baseman Joe Mauer faced Estrada seven times in his career and has three hits and three RBI against him. Josh Willingham and Aaron Hicks are the only two Twins who have hit home runs off of the right-hander.

Last Friday, Ricky Nolasco beat the New York Yankees on the road to pick up his first win since way back on April 24. He went six innings in that start and allowed just one run on seven hits while striking out three while walking four. Nolasco has been more hittable than he ever has been in his career this season, giving up 86 hits in 66.1 innings of work.

Nolasco is one of second baseman Rickie Weeks' favorite pitchers to face, going 10-for-21 against him with a triple, two home runs, four RBI and one walk. Mark Reynolds has just two hits against him in 15 at-bats and has been struck out by the right-hander 10 times.
