On Sunday afternoon, Kyle Lohse (11-7) will be hoping that he can pick up his first win of August when he and the Milwaukee Brewers face veteran Dan Haren (10-9) and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Kyle Lohse could only make it through three innings against the Chicago Cubs last Wednesday and ended up taking the loss. He allowed four runs on seven base hits in that outing while walking one and striking out three. On the season, Lohse has a 3.49 ERA and he has only walked 34 batters in 159.2 innings of work.

Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez has 10 hits in 26 at-bats against Lohse in his career with five doubles and two home runs. Veteran Juan Uribe is just 4-for-23 against him with four strikeouts.

Right-hander Dan Haren was able to win his second game in a row on Tuesday when he defeated the Atlanta Braves on the road. He went six innings in that start and allowed two runs on six hits while walking one batter and striking out seven. He now has a 4.50 ERA on the season and has only walked 29 batters in 140 innings on the mound.

Brewers third baseman Aramis Ramirez is 3-for-10 against Haren in his career with a double and an RBI. Outfielder Gerardo Parra is just 3-for-20 against him with an RBI and three strikeouts.
