Veteran starter Yovani Gallardo (7-6) will be going for his third win in four starts when the Milwaukee Brewers go up against Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw (14-2) on Saturday night.

Yovani Gallardo pitched seven strong innings against the Chicago Cubs on the road on Monday and came away with his seventh win of the season. He gave up just one run on six hits in that start and struck out six batters while walking zero. Gallardo now has a 3.44 ERA after that win and he has only walked 2.4 batters per nine innings this season.

Dodgers outfielder Andre Ethier has eight hits in 21 at-bats against Gallardo in his career with two doubles, a triple and a home run. Infielder Darwin Barney is just 3-for-24 against him with a walk and seven strikeouts.

Clayton Kershaw extended his undefeated streak to 13 games on Sunday when he was able to beat the Milwaukee Brewers on the road. He pitched eight strong innings in that outing and allowed just one run on six hits while walking two and striking out six. Kershaw currently owns a fantastic 1.78 ERA and he has only given up 98 hits in 136.1 innings on the mound.

Brewers outfielder Gerardo Parra is 9-for-26 against Kershaw in his career with three doubles and two walks. In 156 combined at-bats, the Brewers have yet to hit a home run off of Kershaw.
