Wily Peralta will be going for his fourth consecutive win for the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday afternoon when they take on the Colorado Rockies, who are expected to give a spot start to 26-year-old left-hander Christian Friedrich.

On Monday, right-hander Wily Peralta pitched seven innings against the Arizona Diamondbacks and ended up getting his seventh win of the season. He allowed three runs on nine hits in that game while striking out six batters and walking no one. Peralta is now 7-5 on the year for the Brewers with a solid 2.98 ERA and he has improve his walk rate by more than a walk per nine innings.

Veteran Justin Morneau has two hits in four at-bats against Peralta with a double and an RBI. Wilin Rosario is 1-for-3 against him and is the only player on the Rockies who has been able to hit a home run off of him. Collectively, the Rockies who have faced Peralta have hit .333 against him through 21 at-bats.

The Rockies have a lot of injuries to pitchers throughout their organization, which is why Christian Friedrich is getting his first start since 2012. The former top prospect has not pitched well at Triple-A for the Rockies this season, going 1-8 through 13 starts with a 7.89 ERA. He has given up 91 hits in 67.1 innings and has an extremely high 1.723 WHIP.
