On Wednesday night, Matt Garza (7-7) will face off against one of his old clubs when he and the Milwaukee Brewers go up against Kyle Hendricks (5-1) and the Chicago Cubs.

Matt Garza had a very good outing against the St. Louis Cardinals in his last start before going on the disabled list, but all he could get out of that start was a no decision. He gave up no runs and just one hit in six innings of work that day while walking no one and striking out four. Garza now has a 3.58 ERA on the season and has only given up 10 home runs in 145.2 innings.

Cubs outfielder Chris Coghlan has four hits in his seven at-bats against Garza with three doubles and a triple. Luis Valbuena is 0-for-8 against the right-hander in his career with no walks and two strikeouts.

Rookie Kyle Hendricks ended up with a no decision in his start against the St. Louis Cardinals last week after pitching pretty well in the game. He went six innings in that start and gave up two runs on five base hits while walking one batter and striking out three. Through nine starts, he now has a 1.91 ERA and he has given up just 45 hits in 56.2 innings.

Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun is 0-for-3 against Hendricks in his career with no walks and two strikeouts. Veteran Mark Reynolds is 2-for-3 against him with one strikeout.
