On Wednesday night, Kyle Lohse (11-6) will be hoping that he can win his first game in four starts for the Milwaukee Brewers when they go up against Tsuyoshi Wada (1-1) and the Chicago Cubs.

Last Friday, Kyle Lohse pitched well enough to get the win over the Los Angels Dodgers, but he had to settle for a no decision. He pitched six innings in that game and allowed just one run on six hits while walking two batters and striking out two. He now has a 3.33 ERA on the year and he has only given up 148 hits in 156.2 innings.

Cubs outfielder Junior Lake has six hits in his 15 at-bats against Lohse with two home runs and five RBI. Catcher Welington Castillo is just 3-for-20 against him with a walk and three strikeouts.

Rookie Tsuyoshi Wada pitched six pretty good innings against the Tampa Bay Rays last week and ended up with a no decision for his efforts. He gave up two runs on four base hits in that outing while walking one batter and striking out six. Through five starts this year, Wada has a 3.25 ERA and he has struck out 25 batters in 27.2 innings.

Wada will be facing the Brewers for the first time on Wednesday night. So far this season, he has held left-handed batters to just a .143 batting average and a .325 OPS.
