With interleague action spread across Major League Baseball season, the final game of this National League vs. American League series between the Milwaukee Brewers and Boston Red Sox will be held on Sunday at Fenway Park in Boston, Mass. For the visiting Brewers, Yovani Gallardo will take the hill, while the Red Sox will send left-hander Jon Lester to the mound.

Gallardo, the native of Mexico, regressed in 2013 after a stellar 2012 season. He still picked up 12 wins a year ago, but registered a 4.18 ERA, nearly half a run higher than his career mark. Five current Red Sox players have batted against the talented right hander, with Jonny Gomes getting the most at-bats with 13, but has just a .154 average. Jonathan Herrera has three hits in six at-bats, while David Ross and Dustin Pedroia have two hits and David Ortiz has one. Combined, they are batting .370 with three home runs against Gallardo.

Lester is coming into this start looking for his 101st career win. He went 15-8 a year ago with a 3.75 ERA and averaged 7.5 strikeouts per nine innings. The current Brewers that have hit Lester have had great success against him including Lyle Overbay (9-of-28, 2 HR, 8 RBI) and Mark Reynolds (7-of-26, 1 HR, 3 RBI). The current Brewers are hitting .307 with four home runs against Lester.
