Right-handed starter Wily Peralta will get the start for the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday and will go up against Mike Minor and the Atlanta Braves.

Wily Peralta had another impressive start last Wednesday when he faced the Pittsburgh Pirates at home, but he ended up with a no decision in a game the Brewers ended up losing 4-1. He was able to go seven innings in that game and gave up just one earned run on five hits while striking out four and walking one. He has an outstanding 2.05 ERA through eight starts and has walked just 10 batters through 52.2 innings.

No one on the Braves has gotten an extra-base hit off of Peralta yet, but Jason Heyward is 2-for-5 against him with a walk. Freddie Freeman is 0-for-4 against him with a walk and three strikeouts.

Mike Minor made his third start of the season last week against the San Francisco Giants and ended up picking up his first win of 2014. He pitched 6.2 shutout innings in that game and allowed just three hits while striking out six and walking two. Through 17 innings, Minors has a 4.24 ERA and has struck out 16 batters.

Carlos Gomez has just three hits in 13 at-bats against Minor in his career, but one of those hits was a home run. Minor is one of just a few starters that Ryan Braun hasn't figured out yet, going 0-for-7 against him with three strikeouts.
