On Tuesday, Kyle Lohse will try to win his eighth game of the year when the Milwaukee Brewers go up against Wade Miley and the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Veteran right-hander Kyle Lohse pitched very well against the New York Mets last Thursday, but he came away with a no decision in a game the Brewers ended up winning 5-1. He allowed just one unearned run in eight innings of work in that outing while walking no one and striking out three. On the year, Lohse is 7-2 with a 3.00 ERA and he has walked only 14 batters in 96 innings.

Martin Prado has a .368 batting average against Lohse in his career with a double and three RBI. Miguel Montero has just four hits against him in 16 at-bats, but two of those hits were home runs.

In his start against the Houston Astros last week, Wade Miley ended up with a no decision after giving up four runs in five innings of work. He allowed seven hits in that outing and walked two while striking out eight batters. Miley is 3-6 this season with a 4.71 ERA and he has struck out 85 batters in 93.2 innings.

Brewers outfielder Carlos Gomez has four hits in his 12 at-bats against Miley with a double, a triple and a home run. Second baseman Rickie Weeks is 4-for-9 against him with a double and two walks.
