On Sunday afternoon, Jacob Turner will try to get his first win of the season when the Miami Marlins face the San Francisco Giants, who will have Ryan Vogelsong on the mound for them.

In his start on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers, right-hander Jacob Turner sufferer his first loss of the season. He could only make it through 5.1 innings in that game and gave up five runs (four earned) on eight hits while striking out two and walking one. Through four starts this season, Turner has a 6.75 ERA and has given up a whopping 30 hits in 21.1 innings.

Outfielder Michael Morse has a triple against Turner, but he is just 1-for-5 against him overall. Gregor Blanco has two hits in three at-bats against him with a double and an RBI.

Ryan Vogelsong lost for the second time on Tuesday when the Atlanta Braves were able to score four runs against him. He went Six innings in that outing and gave up seven hits while walking one and striking out a season-high eight batters. He is now 1-2 on the season through eight starts and his ERA is up to 4.22.

In 12 at-bats against Vogelsong, Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton has four hits, including two doubles and two home runs. Garrett Jones is 5-for-14 against him with a double and a home run.
