Thursday night, the Miami Marlins will send Tom Koehler to the hill as they take on the Philadelphia Phillies and Cole Hamels.  Koehler makes his 16th start as Hamels makes his 13th.

Tom Koehler took the loss his last time out and that lowered his record to 5 - 6 with a 3.74 ERA.  In the loss, Koehler surrendered 2 runs on 4 hits in 7 innings as he walked 3 and struck out 8.  Koehler has already matched his win total of 2013 when he was 5 - 10 with an ERA of 4.41 in 23 starts and 6 relief appearances.

In 2013, Hamels didn’t face the Marlins but he has a start against them this year. In that start, Hamels got a no-decision after giving up 3 runs on 6 hits (including a home run) while walking 1 and striking out 6.
