Right-hander Nathan Eovaldi will look to shake off a couple of bad outings when the Miami Marlins go up against Roberto Hernandez and the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday night.

Nathan Eovaldi picked up his third loss of the season last Wednesday against the Chicago Cubs after giving up five runs in six innings of work. He allowed nine hits in that game and was only able to strike out two while walking no one. On the year, he is 4-3 with a 3.76 ERA and he has only walked 16 batters in 93.1 innings.

Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins has eight hits in 21 career at-bats against Eovaldi with two doubles, a home run and two RBI. Outfielder Domonic Brown has just four hits in 19 at-bats against him with three strikeouts.

Roberto Hernandez ended his three-game losing streak last week against the Atlanta Braves despite giving up five runs to them. He went six innings in that outing and gave up eight hits while striking out two and walking five. Hernandez is now 3-5 this season with a 4.52 ERA and he has given up 75 hits in 73.2 innings.

Marlins catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia has been able to get four hits off of Hernandez in 11 at-bats with three doubles and an RBI. Adeiny Hechavarria is hitless against him in three career matchups and he's been struck out once by the right-hander.
