On Tuesday night, Tom Koehler (9-9) will attempt to extend his undefeated streak to six games when he and the Miami Marlins go up against Matt Garza (7-8) and the Milwaukee Brewers.

Tom Koehler ended up with a no decision in his start against the New York Mets last week after pitching seven solid innings. He gave up two earned runs on five hits in that outing while striking out a season-high 10 batters and walking four. Koehler now has a 3.74 ERA on the season and he has only given up 150 hits in 168.1 innings.

Brewers outfielder Gerardo Parra has two hits in five at-bats against Koehler in his career with a solo home run and two strikeouts. Carlos Gomez is 2-for-4 against him with two doubles and an RBI.

In his last start, veteran Matt Garza could only make it through three innings against the Chicago Cubs on the road and ended up taking the loss. He pitched three innings and gave up a season-high six earned runs in that game while walking one batter and striking out three. Garza now has a 3.87 ERA on the year and he has only given up 11 home runs on 148.2 innings.

Marlins first baseman Garrett Jones is 5-for-13 against Garza with a double, a home run and two RBI. Catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia is just 1-for-8 against him with no walks and three strikeouts.
