The Miami Marlins will send big right-hander Jacob Turner to the mound on Tuesday night to face Josh Beckett and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Miami starter Jacob Turner had his best game of the young season last Thursday against the San Diego Padres, but he once again ended up with a no decision to keep his record at 0-0. He went six innings against the Padres and gave up a season-low one run on five hits while striking out four and walking just one. He now has an ERA of 6.75 through three starts.

Turner has done well against Hanley Ramirez in their six matchups, holding him to just one hit in six at-bats. Outfielder Yasiel Puig is 1-for-3 against Turner and is the only player on the Dodgers who has hit a home run off of him.

Josh Beckett picked up his sixth no decision in seven starts this season when he went up against the San Francisco Giants last Thursday. He pitched 6.2 strong innings in that game and gave up just one run on five hits while walking three and striking out four. He has a very good 2.80 ERA through 35.1 innings this year.

Beckett has held Reed Johnson to just two hits in 11 at-bats, while Garret Jones is 5-for-6 against the veteran right-hander with three doubles and a home run.
