In his rookie campaign in 2013, Cosart was 1 - 1 with an ERA of 1.95 in 10 starts.

Last season, Cosart didn't face the Marlins and has opposed only one of the Miami hitters in the past. Miami's Jarrod Saltalamacchia is 2 for 2 with a double against the young righty.
