On Monday night, Tom Koehler will attempt to win his seventh game of the year when he and the Miami Marlins face Atlanta Braves right-hander Julio Teheran.

Tom Koehler pitched 6.1 innings against the New York Mets on the road in his last start and ended up with a no decision for his efforts. He allowed three runs on two hit sin that outing while walking four batters and striking out four. The right-hander is 6-7 on the year with a 3.99 ERA and he has given up just 94 hits in 112.2 innings.

Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman is 4-for-13 against Koehler in his career with a double, a triple and one RBI. Shortstop Andrelton Simmons is just 2-for-11 against him, but he is the only Brave who has hit a home run off of him.

Julio Teheran went seven innings against the Chicago Cubs last Sunday and ended up winning his ninth game of the year. He gave up four runs in that start and walked two batters while striking out six. He is now 9-6 on the season with a very solid 2.71 ERA and he has struck out 116 batters in 136.1 innings on the mound.

Marlins All-Star Giancarlo Stanton has hit a home run off of Teheran, but he is just 2-for-15 overall against him. Infielder Ed Lucas is 5-for-13 against him with a walk and an RBI.
