For the second season in a row, the two-time defending champion Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs will be playing each other in the NBA Finals. Neither team struggled to win any of their first three series this postseason, but most experts are expecting the championship to be a very even series.

The Heat lost the first game of their series with the Indiana Pacers, but they were able to win four of the next five games to win the series comfortably. In the sixth and final game of the series last Friday, Miami dominated on their home floor and ended up winning by 25 points.

LeBron James has been Miami's top player throughout the playoffs and has averaged a team-leading 27.1 points along with 6.8 rebounds, five assists and 1.8 steals. Dwyane Wade has scored 18.7 points per game in the playoffs.

The Spurs looked like they would have a chance to sweep the Oklahoma City Thunder after pounding them in their first two games, but the Thunder played much better in the middle of the series before the Spurs put them away in Game 6. In that final game of the series last Saturday, San Antonio needed overtime to get the win and reach the Finals again.

37-year-old Tim Duncan has averaged 16.5 points and 8.9 rebounds in the playoffs for the Spurs, while fellow veteran Manu Ginobili has come off the bench throughout the postseason to average 14.3 points and 4.1 assists.
