On Wednesday the Los Angeles Dodgers will visit the Washington Nationals. In this heavyweight battle, these teams will be sending a couple of the better pitchers in the league to face each other. The Dodgers will have Dan Haren take the mound and the Nationals will put Stephen Strasburg on the hill.

In his last outing, Strasburg faced the Philadelphia Phillies in a game where he received a no decision even though he pitched a great game. In that game, Strasburg pitched 6 strong innings giving up no runs and 6 hits. He struck out 5 while only giving up one walk.

Strasburg has pitched well against the Dodgers over his career. Los Angeles is hitting .222 against Strasburg and only one home run. However, Strasburg has had trouble with Adrian Gonzalez. Gonzalez is hitting .500 against Strasburg with one double. Hanley Ramirez has also played well against the righty hitting .308 with two double and a home run.
