The Los Angeles Dodgers (11-2, 1.92 ERA) will send Clayton Kershaw to the mound to face the San Francisco Giants' Ryan Vogelsong (5-7, 3.99 ERA) in the second game of their three game series.

Kershaw is coming off a no-decision in which he pitched seven innings giving up three earned runs by way of six hits while striking out eight and walking one Sunday against the St. Louis Cardinals. Before that, Kershaw had won eight straight. Kershaw is having an excellent season ranking first in the NL for ERA, WHIP, win percentage, and complete games. He'll be looking to keep the ball rolling when he faces the Giants on Saturday.

If Angel Pagan is back in the lineup, Kershaw will want to be careful. Pagan is 11-for-35 over his career versus Kershaw with three doubles.

Vogelsong was rough in a no-decision Monday, allowing four runs (three earned) in just three innings of work. The 11 hits Vogelsong gave up were the most he's allowed in a game this season. The veteran right hander has been pretty good this season, and will take a 3.99 ERA into this start against the Dodgers.

Dee Gordon and Matt Kemp have been good against Vogelsong over their careers going 10-for-26 and 8-for-26 respectively.
