On Wednesday, veteran Dan Haren will try to snap his three-game losing streak when the Los Angeles Dodgers face left-hander Francisco Liriano and the Pittsburgh Pirates.

In his last start, right-hander Dan Haren went just 4.2 innings against the St. Louis Cardinals and ended up losing for the seventh time this season. He gave up three runs on eight hits in that outing while walking two and striking out four. Haren is currently 8-7 on the year and he has given up 10 hits per nine innings.

Reigning National League MVP Andrew McCutchen is 4-for-12 against Haren in his career with a double, two home runs and four RBI. First baseman Ike Davis is just 2-for-11 against him with a walk and three strikeouts.

Francisco Liriano pitched pretty well against the Colorado Rockies last week, but all he got out of that start was a no decision. He went five innings in that game and gave up just one unearned run on three hits while striking out eight and walking three. Liriano is 1-7 for the Pirates this season with a 4.43 ERA.

Dodgers outfielder Carl Crawford has only been able to get three hits off of Liriano in 13 at-bats with two walks and six strikeouts. None of the current Dodgers have been able to hit a home run off of Liriano in 40 combined at-bats.
