Wednesday night, Dan Haren will take the hill for the Los Angeles Dodgers as they take on Mike Pelfrey and the Minnesota Twins.  It will be Haren’s 6th start of the season and Pelfrey’s 5th.

Dan Haren comes into this one with a 3 – 0 record and an ERA of 2.03 after pitching to a no decision in his last start.  In that outing, Haren surrendered 3 runs on 7 hits with 2 walks and 7 strikeouts in 6 innings of work.   Last season, Haren was 10 – 14 with a save in 30 starts and 1 relief appearance with the Washington Nationals.

In 2013, Pelfrey didn’t face the Dodgers but he has seen a few of the Los Angeles batters in his career.  Adrian Gonzalez is 3 of 14 against Pelfrey but he has 2 home runs and 3 RBIs in those at-bats.
