Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Clayton Kershaw (13-2) will attempt to extend his undefeated streak to 13 games on Sunday afternoon when he faces Jimmy Nelson (2-2) and the Milwaukee Brewers.

On Tuesday, Clayton Kershaw pitched seven pretty good innings against the Los Angeles Angels and finished with a no decision. He allowed three runs on seven base hits in that game while striking out seven hitters and walking two. He still leads the league in ERA (1.82) and he has been able to strike out 157 batters in 128.1 innings this season.

Brewers outfielder Gerardo Parra has nine hits in 23 at-bats versus Kershaw with three doubles and two walks. Catcher Jonathan Lucroy is hitless against him in 10 at-bats with one strikeout.

In his last start, Jimmy Nelson pitched seven innings against the San Francisco Giants at home and came away with his second win of the season. He allowed three runs on six hits in that outing while walking one batter and striking out five. He now has a 4.20 ERA on the year after that win and he has only walked 2.7 batters per nine innings.

All of the Dodgers' hitters will be getting their first chance to face Nelson Sunday afternoon. So far this year, he has held left-handed batters to a .234 batting average, while right-handed batters are hitting .245 against him.
