On Thursday night, Hyun-Jin Ryu (12-5) will be attempting to move his undefeated streak to five games when the Los Angeles Dodgers face veteran lefty C.J. Wilson (8-7) and the Los Angeles Angels.

Second-year starter Hyun-Jin Ryu pitched well enough to get the win against the Chicago Cubs last Saturday, but instead had to settle for the no decision. He went seven innings in that game and allowed two runs on nine base hits while walking one batter and striking out six. His ERA is now 3.39 on the season and he has struck out 111 batters in 124.2 innings.

Angels third baseman David Freese has two hits in his three at-bats against Ryu with one strikeout. None of the Angels have faced Ryu more than four times.

C.J. Wilson had one of the worst starts of his career on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Rays on the road and ended up taking the loss. He could only make it through 1.1 innings in that start and allowed six runs on six hits while striking out two and walking two. Wilson has struck out 109 hitters in 117.2 innings this year, but his 4.74 ERA is his highest ERA since 2008.

Dodgers outfielder Carl Crawford has hit a home run off of Wilson in his career, but he is just 3-for-18 overall against him with six strikeouts.
