On Tuesday, right-hander Dan Haren (13-10) will go for his third win in a row when the Los Angeles Dodgers take on rookie left-hander Tyler Matzek (5-10) and the Colorado Rockies.

Dan Haren pitched seven shutout innings against the San Diego Padres last Wednesday and picked up the win. He gave up just four hits in that start and walked one batter while striking out five. Haren now has a 3.99 ERA after that win and he has only walked 1.9 batters per nine innings this season.

Rockies outfielder Corey Dickerson has four hits in five at-bats against Haren in his career with three doubles, a home runs and two RBI. Veteran Michael Cuddyer is just 5-for-29 against him with a walk and 11 strikeouts.

Tyler Matzek made his 18th start of the season last week and ended up taking the loss against the New York Mets on the road. He went 6.1 innings in that start and gave up two earned runs on four base hits while striking out seven hitters and walking four. The lefty now has a 4.23 ERA on the year and he has only given up nine home runs in 106.1 innings of work.

Dodgers catcher A.J. Ellis has hits in both of his at-bats against Matzek with a walk and an RBI. Second baseman Dee Gordon is 3-for-3 against him with a triple.
