Los Angeles Dodgers starter Josh Beckett will try to bounce back from one of his worst starts of the year on Sunday afternoon when he faces rookie left-hander Yohan Flande and the Colorado Rockies.

On Tuesday, right-hander Josh Beckett lost his fifth game of the year when he gave up five runs to the Cleveland Indians at home. He pitched five innings in that game and allowed six hits while walking one and striking out five. It was a blip in Beckett's otherwise solid season. He is now 5-5 with a 2.37 ERA and he has only given up 72 hits in 98.2 innings on the mound.

Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki has three hits in eight at-bats against Beckett with a double, a home run and three RBI. Catcher Wilin Rosario is hitless against him in eight at-bats and has been struck out four batters in their matchups.

Yohan Flande made his second start of the season against the Washington Nationals on Sunday and ended up taking his first Major League loss. He pitched 5.1 innings in that game and allowed three runs on six hits while walking one and striking out three. In his two starts, Flande has given up 12 hits in 10.1 innings and has struck out seven batters.

All of the Dodgers will be seeing Flande in person for the first time on Sunday afternoon.
