Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw will attempt to win his seventh consecutive game on Friday night when he faces lefty Jorge De La Rosa and the Colorado Rockies.

Clayton Kershaw continued his recent dominance by pitching seven scoreless innings against the St. Louis Cardinals and picked up his ninth win of the year in the process. He gave up five hits in that start while striking out 13 hitters and walking just two. The left-hander is now 9-2 on the year and has been able to strike out 107 batters in 79.1 innings.

Rockies All-Star Troy Tulowitzki has just 12 hits in 52 at-bats against Kershaw, but he has hit two doubles and two home runs off of him. Outfielder Drew Stubbs is just 3-for-21 against him with no extra-base hits and nine strikeouts.

Jorge De La Rosa didn't have the bets start against the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday, but he got some help from his offense and came away with his eighth win of the season. He went six innings in that game and allowed four runs on four hits while walking two and striking out four. Through 90.2 innings this season, Jorge De La Rosa has 67 strikeouts and he has only given up 81 hits.

Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp is 14-for-38 against De La Rosa in his career with three doubles, three home runs and 11 RBI.
