Thursday afternoon, the Los Angeles Dodgers will take the field behind Zack Greinke as they take on the Cincinnati Reds and Alfredo Simon.  Greinke will be making his 14th start as Simon makes his 13th.

Simon is already ahead of the 6 -4 record (with a save) and close to the 2.87 ERA that he posted in 2013 as he made 63 relief appearances.

Last season, Simon didn’t record a decision in his 2 appearances against the Dodgers.  This season, he took a loss against Los Angeles after getting lit up for 5 runs on 5 hits (including a home run) in just 3.2 innings of work.
