Los Angeles Dodgers starter Dan Haren (13-11), who has a 2-1 record with a 3.00 ERA this month, will make the start on Sunday afternoon against Jacob Turner (5-10) and the Chicago Cubs.

Veteran Dan Haren gave up five runs in five innings to the Colorado Rockies on the road last week and ended up taking the loss. He allowed four hits in that outing while striking out five batters and walking one. Haren now has a 4.14 ERA on the season and he has given up 26 home runs in 174 innings on the mound.

Cubs shortstop Starlin Castro has two hits in five plate appearances against Haren in his career with no walks and one strikeout. Outfielder Chris Coghlan is 5-for-19 against him with no walks, a double and four strikeouts.

Jacob Turner lost his second start in a row last week when he was defeated by the Pittsburgh Pirates on the road. He gave up a season-high seven earned runs in 4.1 innings of work that day while walking three batters and striking out one. Turner has a very high 6.20 ERA on the season and he has already given up 136 hits in 103 innings.

Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig has two hits in five at-bats against Turner with a home run and three RBI. Veteran Carl Crawford is just 1-for-5 against him in his career with an RBI.
