Veteran Dan Haren (9-9) will try to carry the momentum over from his last start when he and the Los Angeles Dodgers face off against Julio Teheran (10-8) and the Atlanta Braves on Monday night.

Last Wednesday against the Los Angeles Angels, Dan Haren was able to snap his five-game losing streak and pick up his ninth win of the year. He pitched 7.1 innings in that start and allowed just one run on three base hits while striking out four batters and walking zero. He has given up 145 hits in 134 innings this year and he now has a 4.57 ERA.

Braves outfielder B.J. Upton is 10-for-36 against Haren in his career with a double, five home runs and five RBI. Catcher Gerald Laird is just 1-for-12 against him with no walks and four strikeouts.

Julio Teheran lost his second game in a row last Wednesday when he was defeated by the Seattle Mariners on the road. He gave up six runs in six innings of work that day while walking two batters and striking out five. His ERA went up to 2.92 with that loss, but he has still only given up 139 hits in 163.1 innings this season.

Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig has two hits in his three at-bats against Teheran with a double and a solo home run. Shortstop Hanley Ramirez is 0-for-4 against him with two strikeouts.
