Reigning Cy Young winner Clayton Kershaw will pitch for the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday when they take on Chase Anderson and the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Clayton Kershaw made his third start of the season last Sunday when he went seven innings against the San Francisco Giants and picked up a no decision. He gave up three earned runs on seven hits in that game while striking out nine and walking none. He is 2-0 on the season with a 1.76 ERA through 20.2 innings and has walked just one batter.

Martin Prado, like most hitters in the league, has struggled against Kershaw in his career by going just 3-for-26 with three strikeouts. Paul Goldschmidt is the only Diamondback with a home run off of Kershaw, but he is hitting just .174 against the lefty through 23 at-bats.

26-year-old Chase Anderson made his first Major League start last Sunday and was able tp pick up the win by beating the Chicago White Sox on the road. He pitched 5.1 innings in that game and gave up just one run on two hits while striking out six and walking one. The only run that was scored off of him in that game was via the long ball.

Anderson featured a 92 mph fastball, which he threw 58% of the time, and an 82 mph changeup that he threw about 27% of the time.
