On Wednesday, Clayton Kershaw (15-3) will try to extend his league-lead in wins when he and the Los Angeles Dodgers go up against Wade Miley (7-9) and the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Last Thursday, Clayton Kershaw pitched eight great innings against the San Diego Padres and ended up picking up his 15th win. He allowed just one run on three base hits in that game while walking two batters and striking out 10. Kershaw now has a league-leading 1.82 ERA and he has only given up eight home runs in 153.1 innings of work.

Diamondbacks second baseman Aaron Hill has five hits in his 16 at-bats versus Kershaw with a double and two RBI. None of the Diamondbacks have been able to hit a home run off of the left-hander yet in 103 combined at-bats.

Wade Miley pitched 6.2 scoreless innings against the Washington Nationals on the road, but he ended up having to settle for a no decision. He allowed eight base hits in that game while walking a season-high six batters and striking out four. Miley gas struck out 157 batters in 170 innings this season and now has a 4.29 ERA.

Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp has six hits in 21 at-bats against Miley with two home runs and three RBI. Scott Van Slyke is 7-for-16 against him with three doubles, four home runs and five RBI.
