Roberto Hernandez (7-9) will be making his fourth start for the Los Angeles Dodgers when they take on Trevor Cahill (3-8) and the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday night.

Roberto Hernandez lost his first game as a member of the Dodgers last week when he was defeated by the San Diego Padres. He gave up four runs (three earned) in five innings of work that day while striking out two batters and walking two. Hernandez has only given up 122 hits in 138 innings this year and he now has a 3.78 ERA.

Diamondbacks second baseman Aaron Hill has eight hits in 24 at-bats against Hernandez in his career with two doubles, a home run and four RBI. Catcher Miguel Montero is 0-for-4 against him with two walks and a strikeout.

Veteran starter Trevor Cahill gave up two runs in 6.1 innings against the Washington Nationals last week and ended up with a no decision. He allowed six hits in that outing while walking four batters and striking out five. Cahill now has a 4.54 ERA on the season and he has only given up five home runs in 83.1 innings of work.

Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez has a .458 batting average through 24 at-bats against Cahill with three doubles, two home runs and seven RBI. Yasiel Puig is just 2-for-9 against him with three walks and five strikeouts.
