Tyler Skaggs will be going for his fifth win of the season for the Los Angeles Angels when they go up against Chris Young and the Seattle Mariners.

22-year-old Tyler Skaggs won for the fourth time this season when he was able to beat the the Houston Astros at home last week. He pitched seven strong innings in that outing and gave up just one run on five hits while striking out six and walking one. He only has 39 strikeouts through 58.2 innings, but he's also walked just 14 batters.

Catcher John Buck is hitless in three at-bats against Skaggs, while Cole Gillespie is 1-for-3 against him with a strikeout. Everyone else on the Mariners will be facing the left-hander for the first time on Monday.

Chris Young pitched okay in his start against the Texas Rangers last week, but he ended up picking up his second loss in a row. He gave up four runs on seven hits in that game while walking three and striking out just one. He still has a solid 3.53 ERA on the year, but he has struck out just 19 hitters in 51 innings.

Raul Ibanez has done pretty well against Young in his career by getting 10 hits in 35 at-bats against the big right-hander with a double, a triple, a home run and four RBI. Albert Pujols is just 2-for-11 against Young.
