Veteran lefty C.J. Wilson will be going for his third consecutive win on Wednesday when he and the Los Angeles Angels face Seattle Mariners' ace Felix Hernandez.

In his start against the Kansas City Royals last week, C.J. Wilson picked up his sixth win of the season by pitching 6.1 innings of one-run ball. He allowed just four hits and walked four while striking out three in the win. He is now 6-3 with an even 3.00 ERA and he's given up just 53 hits through 69 innings on the year.

All-Star second baseman Robinson Cano hasn't hit a home run off of Wilson yet, but does have a .355 batting average in 31 at-bats against him with two doubles and an RBI. Kyle Seager has just three hits against Wilson in 26 at-bats and he's been struck out by the lefty 13 times.

Felix Hernandez won his sixth game of the year last Friday when he defeated the Houston Astros at home. He pitched eight innings in that outing and allowed just one run on five hits while striking out nine and walking one. His ERA is now down to 2.75 on the season and he has 74 strikeouts and just 14 walks in 75.1 innings of work.

Superstar Mike Trout has done well against Hernandez so far in his career by going 16-for-41 against him with two doubles, two triples and two home runs.
