On Tuesday, Wade LeBlanc (0-1) will be making his third start of the season for the Los Angeles Angels when they face Sonny Gray (13-9) and the Oakland Athletics.

Last Thursday, Wade LeBlanc pitched 5.1 scoreless innings against the Seattle Mariners and ended up with a no decision. He gave up just three base hits in that outing and struck out three without walking a batter. Leblanc has 17 strikeouts in 22.1 innings this season and he still has a very high 5.24 ERA.

A's All-Star Josh Donaldson has a hit in each of his four at-bats against LeBlanc with two home runs and four RBI. Catcher Derek Norris is 0-for-3 against him in his career with a walk and two strikeouts.

Young right-hander Sonny Gray had one of his roughest starts of the year last week when he was defeated by the Texas Rangers at home. He pitched five innings in that game and gave up five runs (four earned) on eight base hits while striking out four batters and walking two. Gray has a solid 3.28 Era this year and he has only given up 178 hits in his 203 innings on the mound.

Angels infielder Erick Aybar has four hits in 11 at-bats against Gray with a double and three RBI. Outfielder Mike Trout is 4-for-11 against him in his career with two solo home runs and three strikeouts.
