Collin McHugh will be looking to make it two straight strong starts when he and the Houston Astros face C.J. Wilson and the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday night.

Last Tuesday, Collin McHugh won his third game of the year when he went seven scoreless innings against the Kansas City Royals. He allowed just five hits in that outing and struck out nine batters and walked no one. McHugh has been one of the bigger surprises in the AL this year with his 2.80 ERA and his 50 strikeouts in 45 innings.

Third baseman David Freese has already faced McHugh seven times in his career, but he has just one hit and has been struck out twice. First baseman Albert Pujols is the only player on the Angels who has hit a home run off of McHugh.

C.J. Wilson lost for the fourth time this season when he was beaten by the Seattle Mariners on the road last Wednesday. He pitched pretty well in that game by going 7.2 innings and allowing just three runs on five hits. Through 11 starts, Wilson has a 6-4 record and has been able to strike out 69 batters in 76.2 innings.

Matt Dominguez has a double and an RBI against Wilson in his career, but he is just 1-for-15 overall against the lefty. Two of Carlos Corporan's five hits against Wilson were of the long ball variety.
