Left-hander C.J. Wilson will be making the start for the Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday night when they face off against Justin Masterson and the Cleveland Indians.

C.J. Wilson lost his sixth game of the year last Friday when he was defeated by the Atlanta Braves on the road. He allowed four runs on six hits in six innings of work that day while striking out eight and walking two. Through 14 starts, he has a 7-6 record with a 3.50 ERA and he has only given up 73 hits in 92.2 innings this season.

Veteran Nick Swisher has 11 hits in 35 at-bats against Wilson with four doubles, a triple, a home run and six RBI. Asdrubal Cabrera is just 4-for-22 against him with no extra-base hits and five strikeouts.

Big right-hander Justin Masterson had his shortest outing of the year last week against the Boston Red Sox and lost for the fifth time on the season. He went just two innings in that game and allowed five earned runs on three hits while walking four and striking out no one for the first time this season. Masterson is 4-5 this year and has a below average 5.05 ERA through 15 starts.

Masterson is one of outfielder Josh Hamilton's favorite pitchers to face. He has 10 hits against him in 17 at-bats with two doubles, two home runs and five RBI.
