Monday night, the Los Angeles Angels will take the field behind Garrett Richards as they take on the Chicago White Sox and Hector Noesi.  Richards makes his 17th start as Noesi makes his 12 start and 18th appearance.

Hector Noesi pitched to his 2nd straight no-decision in his last start and that held his record at 2 - 5 with an ERA of 5.07.  In the outing, Noesi gave up 2 runs on 9 hits in 7 innings.  He didn’t issue any walks as he struck out 2.  In 2013, Noesi was 0 – 1 with a 6.59 ERA in a start and 11 relief appearances for the Seattle Mariners.

Last season, Noesi pitched just 3.1 innings of relief against the Angels.  He allowed a run on 2 hits.  This season, while with the Texas Rangers, Noesi pitched an inning of relief against Los Angeles.  He gave up 2 runs on 1 hit with 2 strikeouts.
