Garrett Richards will go for his third consecutive win for the Los Angeles Angels when they go up against Gavin Floyd and the Atlanta Braves on Saturday night.

On Monday, Garrett Richards won his second consecutive game and his sixth overall when he beat the Oakland Athletics at home. He went seven innings in that start and allowed just one run on four hits while striking out four and walking zero. Richards has a 6-2 record this year and has only allowed 63 hits and two home runs in 81.2 innings.

Braves outfielder Justin Upton is 1-for-4 against Richards in his career with a single. All of the other Braves will be facing him for the first time on Saturday.

In his seventh start of the season on Monday, Gavin Floyd was finally able to pick up his first win when he beat the Colorado Rockies on the road. In 6.2 innings of work, he allowed just one run on three hits while walking three and striking out four. Floyd is now 1-2 and has a solid 2.57 ERA through 42 innings and he has struck out 35 batters.

Angels slugger Josh Hamilton has five hits in 16 at-bats against Floyd with two doubles, a home run and four RBI. Veteran Raul Ibanez is 5-for-11 against the right-hander in his career with three homers and eight RBI.
