Kansas City Royals starter Danny Duffy (5-10) will look to pick up his first win in over a month when he faces Wade Miley (7-7) and the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday night.

Last week, left-hander Danny Duffy gave up one run in 5.2 innings to the Minnesota Twins, but he ended up with just a no decision for his efforts. He allowed four hits in that game and walked a season-high six batters while striking out four. Duffy has an excellent 2.42 ERA on the year and he has only given up 76 hits in 104 innings on the mound.

Diamondbacks second baseman Aaron Hill one hit in his two at-bats against Duffy in his career. None of the other Diamondbacks have had a chance to go up against Duffy yet.

Wade Miley had a solid start against the Cincinnati Reds last Wednesday and came away with his seventh win of the year. He pitched 6.2 scoreless innings in that game and allowed just seven hits while walking four and striking out one. Miley has been able to strike out 132 batters in 145.2 innings this season and he currently has a 4.14 ERA.

Royals outfielder Nori Aoki has five hits in his 14 at-bats against Miley with a double and a triple. None of the Royals have been able to hit a home run off of the left-hander.
