Left-hander Dallas Keuchel will be trying to win his first game since June 11 when he and the Houston Astros face Texas Rangers ace Yu Darvish on Wednesday night.

Dallas Keuchel had one of his roughest outings of the season against the Los Angeles Angels last week, but he took the no decision rather than the loss. He gave up a season-high five earned runs on 13 hits in that game and walked one batter while striking out one. Keuchel has been solid for the Astros this season, going 8-5 through 16 starts with a 3.06 ERA.

Rangers outfielder Alex Rios has four hits in his 12 at-bats against Keuchel with a double and two RBI. None of the Rangers have been able to hit a home run off of the left-hander yet.

All-Star Yu Darvish only made it through five innings against the New York Mets in his last start and came away with the no decision. He gave up four runs in that game on five hits while walking two batters and striking out six. Darvish has 134 strikeouts in 109.1 innings this season and has only surrendered eight home runs.

One guy on the Astros who likes to face Darvish is third baseman Matt Dominguez, who is 4-for-14 against him with three home runs and four RBI. Chris Carter is hitless against Darvish through 11 at-bats and has been struck out by the right-hander seven times.
