Left-hander Dallas Keuchel will be going for his ninth win of the year when the Houston Astros face veteran Erik Bedard and the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday afternoon.

Dallas Keuchel lost for just the fourth time this season when he was defeated by the Washington Nationals on Tuesday. He went five innings in that start and allowed four runs on six hits while walking a season-high four batters and he struck out four. Not only has Keuchel pitched well for the Astros this season, he has also gotten a lot of help from his offense in his starts to the tune of 5.18 runs per nine innings.

Sean Rodriguez has three hits in his six at-bats against Keuchel with one double and a strikeout. Ben Zobrist is just 1-for-6 against the lefty with a double and strikeouts.

Erik Bedard picked up his fifth loss in his last start when he was beaten by the Baltimore Orioles at home. He gave up five runs on four hits in four innings of work that game while walking two and striking out three. On the season, Bedard is 3-5 with a 4.33 ERA and he has only given up four home runs on 60.1 innings of work.

Astros outfielder Dexter Fowler has three hits in his seven at-bats against Bedard with a walk and a strikeout. Jesus Guzman is 2-for-2 against him with a walk and an RBI.
