Dallas Keuchel looks to continue his impressive start to the season when the Houston Astros take on Brandon Maurer and the Seattle Mariners on Saturday night.

Dallas Keuchel was able to pick up his third win in a row last Monday against the Los Angeles Angels by going 8.2 innings and only giving up two earned runs. He scattered five hits in that start and struck out eight batters while walking just one. His ERA is now down to 2.92 on the year and he has struck out 55 batters in 61.2 innings while giving up just 53 hits.

Keuchel has done well against Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager by holding him to just three hits in 13 at-bats. No Seattle batter has hit a home run off of the left-hander yet.

Brandon Maurer had a tough time with his command against the Tampa Bay Rays in his last start and he ended up picking up his second loss of the season. He only pitched 3.2 innings in that start and allowed two runs on two hits while walking four and striking out three. He has a 1-2 record on the year and a 6.00 ERA.

Second baseman Jose Altuve has faced Maurer seven times so far in his career and has two hits, including a double, with two RBI. Jonathan Villar and Alex Presley both have hit home runs off of the big right-hander.
