Houston Astros starter Brad Peacock will have a tough task on his hands when he goes up against Felix Hernandez and the Seattle Mariners on Friday.

In his tenth start of the season, right-hander Brad Peacock finally was able to get his first win of 2014 by beating the Chicago White Sox at home. He pitched 6.2 innings in that game and allowed two runs on five hits while striking out five and walking four. His ERA is still a bit high at 5.20 and he has walked a whopping 30 batters in 45 innings.

Third baseman Kyle Seager has done well against Peacock in their 14 matchups by hitting .357 with a double, a home run and five RBI. Mike Zunino is the only other Mariner who has hit a home run off of Peacock.

Felix Hernandez won his second game in a row and his fifth overall a week ago when he beat the Minnesota Twins on the road. He pitched eight strong innings in that game and gave up just two runs on seven hits while walking one and striking out five. He now has a 5-1 record and has walked just 13 batters in 67.1 innings.

Jose Altuve is one player on the Astros who has done well against Hernandez by going 5-for-12 with two doubles and a walk. Chris Carter has struck out four times and has just one hit against King Felix in seven at-bats.
