Left-hander Dallas Keuchel (10-9) will go for his first win since late July when for the Houston Astros on Sunday afternoon when they go up against Jason Hammel (2-5) and the Oakland Athletics.

Dallas Keuchel had a pretty good outing against the Texas Rangers last week and ended up with a no decision for his efforts. He went seven innings in that game and gave up two runs on five hits while striking out three hitters and walking two. Keuchel currently has a 3.03 ERA on the season and he has only given up 10 home runs in 178.1 innings.

A's All-Star Josh Donaldson has six hits in his 16 at-bats versus Keuchel with a double, a home run and two RBI. Craig Gentry is just 2-for-14 against him with one walk and three strikeouts.

Jason Hammel was able to pick up his 10th win of the season last week when he defeated the Seattle Mariners at home. He pitched a season-high eight innings in that game and gave up just one run on three base hits while striking out five batters and walking one. Hammel lowered his ERA to 3.58 with that win and he has only given up 137 hits in 155.2 innings this season.

Astros first baseman Jon Singleton is 1-for-4 against Hammel in his career with a home run and two RBI. Jake Marisnick is just 1-for-6 against him with no walks and three strikeouts.
