Dallas Keuchel will be looking to bounce back from his first loss in nearly a month on Friday night when he and the Houston Astros take on Phil Hughes and the Minnesota Twins.

Last weekend, Dallas Keuchel picked up his third loss of the season when he was beaten by the Baltimore Orioles at home. The loss ended the left-hander's four-game winnings streak. He pitched six innings in that game and allowed three earned runs on six hits while walking three and striking out three. Keuchel has a solid 6-3 record on the season and has only allowed four home runs in 76.2 innings of work.

Jason Kubel is one player on the Twins who Keuchel will not be looking forward to facing again. Kubel has two hits against him in three at-bats with two home runs and five RBI.

Phil Hughes faced some of his old teammates on Sunday when he was able to pitch eight strong innings against the New York Yankees and pick up his sixth win. He two earned runs in that outing and struck out six batters while walking two. Hughes has not lost a game since back in mid-April and he has only given up four home runs in 69.1 innings this season.

Chris Carter is the only player in the Astros who has gone up against Hughes and he is 1-for-3 against him with a single.
