Right-hander Collin McHugh will be going for his third consecutive win when he and the Houston Astros take on Samuel Deduno and the Minnesota Twins on Sunday afternoon.

Collin McHugh picked up his fourth win of the season on Tuesday when he beat the Los Angeles Angels at home. He pitched five innings in that start and allowed no runs on two hits while striking out four and walking two. He was able to improve his record to 4-3 on the season and has now struck out 54 batters in 50 innings of work. McHugh has now gone 13 straight innings without giving up an earned run.

The only player on the Twins who McHugh has faced in the past is catcher Kurt Suzuki, who is 1-for-2 against him with a solo home run and one strikeout.

30-year-old Samuel Deduno beat the Milwaukee Brewers on the road last week to pick up his second win of the season. He made it through five innings in that outing and allowed two earned runs on six hits while walking four and striking out two. He has a 3.83 ERA through 51.2 innings this year and has only given up two home runs.

Astros catcher Jason Castro has one hit and two RBI in three matchups with Deduno. No one on Houston has faced the right-hander more than three times.
