Collin McHugh will be looking to end a rough stretch of starts on Wednesday when the Houston Astros go up against the Los Angeles Angels, who will send Jered Weaver to the mound.

Collin McHugh lost for the second time this season when he was defeated by the Chicago White Sox at home last week. He pitched 5.1 innings in that outing and allowed four earned runs on three hits while walking a season-high four batters and striking out seven. McHugh had a great start to the season, but he has lost two of his last three games and has a combined 6.32 ERA in those outings.

McHugh will be facing the Angles for the first time on Wednesday and will feature a 91-93 mph fastball, an 86 mph slider and a 73 mph curveball.

Jered Weaver pitched well against the Tampa Bay Rays last Friday, but he ended up taking the loss after getting no run support from his offense. He went seven strong innings in that game and gave up two runs on just three hits while walking three and striking out five. He is now 4-3 on the season with a 3.14 ERA and has given up just 45 hits in 57.1 innings of work.

Jesus Guzman has faced Weaver six times in his career and has two hits, including one home run. Alex Presley has just one hit in six at-bats against the right-hander.
