Left-hander Dallas Keuchel (10-9), who hasn't won a game since July, will get the start for the Houston Astros when they face Hector Santiago (5-7) and the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday afternoon.

Dallas Keuchel ended up with a no decision in his start against the Oakland Athletics last week after giving up three runs (two earned) in 6.2 innings of work. He allowed eight base hits in that outing while striking out three batters and walking one. Keuchel now has a 3.06 ERA on the year and he has only given up 11 home runs in 185 innings.

Angels second baseman Howie Kendrick has eight hits in his 16 at-bats versus Keuchel with a double, a home run and two RBI. All-Star Mike Trout is 4-for-16 against him with three walks and six strikeouts.

In his last start, Hector Santiago was able to beat the Texas Rangers on the road to pick up his fifth win of the season. He went five innings in that game and allowed just one run on five base hits while walking one batter and striking out two. On the season, Santiago now has a 3.38 ERA and he has only given up 103 hits in 117 innings.

Astros designated hitter Chris Carter is 3-for-6 against Santiago in his career with a double, a home run and four RBI. Carlos Corporan is 0-for-3 against him with no walks and three strikeouts.
