On Saturday, Scott Feldman (8-10), who has a 2.03 ERA in his last four starts, will be on the mound for the Houston Astros when they face Jered Weaver (16-8) and the Los Angeles Angels.

Scott Feldman pitched well enough to get the win his start against the Oakland Athletics last Saturday, but all he got out of that outing was a no decision. He pitched 8.1 innings in that game and gave up three runs (two earned) on seven hits while striking out six batters and walking no one. Feldman now has a 3.99 ERA and he has only given up 14 home runs in 160.1 innings.

Angels second baseman Howie Kendrick is 11-for-25 against Feldman in his career with a double, a home run and four RBI. First baseman Albert Pujols is 2-for-11 against him with no walks and a strikeout.

Jered Weaver pitched six innings in his outing against the Cleveland Indians and picked up the win. He gave up three runs on six hits in that game while striking out two batters and walking two. Weaver has struck out 6.8 batters per nine innings this year and now has a 3.58 ERA.

Astros catcher Jason Castro has three hits in nine plate appearances against Weaver with a double, a home run and three RBI. Second baseman Jose Altuve is just 2-for-13 against him in his career with no walks and two strikeouts.
